BetMGM — Court of Legends

BetMGM’s “Court of Legends” transformed Bellagio’s exclusive club space into a fully immersive basketball experience centered around the first-ever public 1-on-1 matchup between Haley Cavinder and Hanna Cavinder. Created during the excitement of championship weekend in Las Vegas, the two-day activation blended sports, entertainment, social content, and fan engagement into a bold and highly shareable brand experience.

As Executive Producer, I had the pleasure of leading Highdive’s first-ever large-scale activation—an exciting milestone for both the agency and our team. The project required close collaboration across experiential, production, social, talent, broadcast, and venue partners to completely transform “The Club” at Bellagio into a custom-built basketball environment featuring a 65-panel LED court, live competition elements, branded fan experiences, and streaming integration across X, YouTube, and the BetMGM app.

Beyond the live showdown between the Cavinder twins, the weekend included celebrity appearances, skill challenges, dunk performances, live hosting from Sheryl Swoopes and Mark Shunock, and a large-scale promotional sweepstakes designed to drive fan participation both in person and online. The production balanced the complexity and unpredictability of a live event environment with the speed and flexibility needed for real-time content capture and broadcast integration throughout the weekend.

One of the most rewarding parts of the experience was helping establish the production foundation for Highdive’s first activation at this scale—building strong partnerships, collaborative workflows, and a production approach that allowed the event to feel polished, immersive, and genuinely exciting for fans and clients alike.

“Court of Legends” was a true blend of sports, culture, entertainment, and experiential storytelling, and a great example of how powerful live experiences can be when talented teams come together with trust, creativity, and a shared commitment to the work.
